Happy Easter, Purim, Holi. It is a very special time of year. Spring, a rebirth, a celebra
tion, and the earth joins in with a display of rebirth that delights the eyes, nose, ears, and senses, seen and unseen.
I marveled at the changing views driving from North Carolina to Atlanta. Just over 100 miles, but at home most of the trees were still bare, there were Bradford Pears and redbuds blooming and some cherry trees. The farther south I drove, the more blooms and green I saw. Here at Mother’s the Tulip magnolia, forsythia, azaleas, Carolina Jasmine, even the oaks and other trees are leafing out. The dogwoods are breathtaking.
This all reminds us to be grateful. To appreciate what this time means both spiritually and earthly. A time of year when both combine to bring life springing forward. Wherever you are, enjoy this day and this season, and realize that you are totally deserving and worthy of all the best life can provide.
